How do I set up Pack Pass Mobile?

iPhone, Apple Watch, Android device
Pack Pass Mobile will allow you to use your phone or smart device at card readers on campus (e.g., doors, laundry, vending machines).

Solution
Please read below on how to set up Pack Pass Mobile.
Note: You must have a picture on file to use Pack Pass Mobile. If you don't have one, please Submit a Pack Pass Photo.
As long as you are employed/enrolled at Northern, Pack Pass Mobile on your active device(s) will remain functional. We retain the right to deactivate Pack Pass Mobile on a device(s) for security purposes.
Apple (iPhone/Apple Watch)
You can set up Pack Pass Mobile on up to one iPhone and one Apple Watch.
iPhone
1. On your iPhone, install Transact eAccounts from the App Store by either:
2. Open the Transact eAccounts app.
3. Swipe through the intro pages, then select Get Started.
4. Search for "NSU", select South Dakota DSU-SDSU-USD-NSU, then finally select Northern State.
5. Log in with your Northern/Wolves account.
6. Select Add to Apple Wallet. You may need to agree to the Terms & Conditions.
7. Pack Pass Mobile is now ready for use. Please see Using Pack Pass Mobile for more information.
Apple Watch
1. Ensure your Apple Watch is logged in to the same iCloud account as your iPhone.
2. On your iPhone, open the Transact eAccounts app.
3. Next to "Apple Watch", select Add to Apple Wallet.
4. You will get a series of pop-up prompts. Select I Understand, then Next, Agree to the terms and conditions, and finally, select Done.
5. On your Apple Watch, open the Wallet app.
6. Select the "Northern" card.
7. Pack Pass Mobile is now ready for use. Please see Using Pack Pass Mobile for more information.
Android
1. You must have NFC enabled on your device:
- Open Settings
- Select Connections
- Ensure that "NFC and contactless payments" is toggled to On
2. You must have Google Wallet on your device. If you don't have it, please install from the Google Play store by either:
After installation, open the Google Wallet app and complete the set-up prompts. Note: You must use your personal Google Account (the same as your device).
3. Install Transact eAccounts from the Google Play store by either:
4. Open the Transact eAccounts app.
5. Swipe through the intro pages, then select Get Started.
6. Search for "NSU", select South Dakota DSU-SDSU-USD-NSU, then finally select Northern State.
7. Select Continue to Sign In, then log in with your Northern/Wolves account.
8. Select Add to Google Wallet. Follow on-screen prompts to finish installation.
9. Pack Pass Mobile is now ready for use. Please see Using Pack Pass Mobile for more information.
