How do I install Microsoft Office on my personal device?

Northern students and staff can install Microsoft Office on their personal devices, up to 5 of each device type: computer/laptop, tablet, and smartphone.
Microsoft Office includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, Outlook, and OneDrive.
Please read below on how to install Microsoft Office.
1. Go to https://office.com, then click Sign in.
2. Log in with your Northern/Wolves account.
3. In the top-right corner, select Install apps > Microsoft 365 apps.
4. Open the installer by clicking on the downloaded OfficeSetup.exe file.
5. After the installation is done, open any Office app (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
6. Sign in with your Northern/Wolves account.
7. Select No, sign in to this app only.
8. Accept the license agreement.
iPhone/iPad
1. On your iPhone/iPad, install Office from the App Store by either:
2. Open the Microsoft 365 app.
3. Log in with your Northern/Wolves account.
Android Device
1. Install Office from the Google Play store by either:
2. Open the Microsoft 365 app.
