How to install Microsoft Office 365?

Installing Microsoft Office 365 onto personal devices. You can install Office on up to 5 of each device type: PCs / Macs, tablets, and phones.
Solution
Logging into Office 365
First open any web browser and go to https://office.com, then click Sign in.
Sign in using your Northern credentials.
After signing in with your Northern credentials, it might redirect you to a Northern-branded page requesting a DUO push notification, or a DUO pass code. Use the option that applies to you.
After Logging into Microsoft Office 365
In the top right corner underneath your profile icon, click the Install apps drop-down button, then select Microsoft 365 Apps.

This will download the installer to your device. Then run the installer by clicking the download file Officesetup.exe. Say yes to the security prompts and install Microsoft Office 365 (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, and more).
Installing Office on your phone/tablet:
Install "Microsoft Office" from the App Store or Google Play store. When Microsoft Office is opened for the first time, you will be prompted to sign in. Use your Northern credentials to sign in.
Office 365 Online (O365)
Use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, and more in your web browser by going to https://office.com.
