Question
How does my school district purchase a Zoom Room license and how many licenses will I need?
Answer
If your school district is purchasing a new codec with integrated Zoom Rooms, you will need to purchase a Zoom Room license. The cost for one license is currently $500 annually and each codec requires its own licenses.
To purchase a license, please contact the K-12 Data Center. They will configure some of the settings for the Zoom Room and calendar for the room. The K-12 Data Center will give the district the email address and activation code and your district will then activate the hardware.
Question
Will NSU be providing codec configuration information to schools so we can set it up and test it to ensure functionality?
Answer
NSU will test proper functionality with schools. This applies to either option of setting up a new Zoom Room or utilizing existing codecs. We will also assist with getting the speed dials for your classes added and tested.
