How do I add my event in 25Live to a calendar on the northern.edu website?

Solution

Northern has several calendar resources in 25Live that populate specific calendar feeds on the website. Below is a list of calendars, the Approver for each calendar, and the webpage link containing that calendar's feed.

Not all events should be published to a calendar! Some events are targeted toward such small, specialized groups that they will not be of interest to most calendar viewers. For such events, the Do NOT Add to Calendars checkbox should be selected. Examples include:

  • Exams, unless they are open to public participants (example: ACT tests)
  • Department, board or committee meetings, unless public participation is required or encouraged
  • Sports practices, conditioning or meetings
  • Fine Arts rehearsals or event/theater setup
  • Job candidate interviews, unless a public forum is included
