Our school district uses student laptops to connect to E-learning courses. What changes will we see with the new delivery system?
Answer
Numerous school districts utilize this connection method. For classes of 5 or more students we suggest utilizing a whole class set up (such as a Polycom x52 codec) as interactions with the teacher, course materials, and other students may be hindered.
To connect with the new Zoom delivery mode, students can utilize either the Zoom client (downloaded and installed) or the Zoom web interface. There is no cost for this connection option. However, if multiple students are connecting in the same classroom, you may wish to ensure students utilize headphones.
NOTE: iPads can be utilized for accessing content, but have been known to be problematic for taking tests and watching videos.
