When will BIT wipe existing codecs clean?
Answer
DDN Video staff will wipe state-specific configurations from the video endpoints and shutdown the firewall ports for the video endpoints on or before June 8, 2025. They will wait until classes are over this school year for any systems actively connecting to classes scheduled through DDN.
For systems not currently in use, this may happen sooner. BIT DDN staff will need to coordinate with the school in most of those cases since systems not in use are typically not online or reachable for them to complete the reconfiguration and wiping remotely.
